About WPC Sheets & Boards
Plywood in a kitchen or bathroom takes in water at the edges, the layers open up and termites follow. A WPC board does not absorb water and has nothing for termites to eat, so cabinets under a sink or next to a shower stay as they were built.
The boards are worked like plywood. They are sawn, routed, screwed, glued and laminated with normal carpentry tools. Green Plastwood makes single-layer WPC / PVC boards from 5 mm and 3 layer boards from 6 mm, both in the standard 8 ft × 4 ft sheet, and both free of formaldehyde and lead.

Single-layer boards from 5 mm, for kitchen and bathroom cabinets, wardrobes, office furniture and partitions. They are cut, routed, screwed, glued and laminated like plywood.

Is a WPC board better than plywood for kitchens?
For wet areas, yes. WPC boards are 100% water proof, termite and borer proof and do not swell or shrink, while plywood absorbs moisture and needs treatment. WPC is still cut, screwed, glued and laminated like plywood.
What thickness and size do WPC boards come in?
WPC / PVC boards are made in 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 18 to 25, 28, 30, 32 and 35 mm thickness, and 3 layer boards from 6 mm. The standard size is 8 ft × 4 ft. Other sizes can be made on big orders.

How is a 3 layer board different from a normal WPC board?
WPC / PVC boards start at 5 mm and 450 kg/m³. 3 layer boards start at 6 mm and 550 kg/m³, with a three-layer build for a tougher surface.
